Gender inequality is a root contributing factor to many development challenges in Indonesia, which is why we have launched a new programme that aims to give women in Papua a much stronger voice in their communities. Now we need your help to ensure that it¢s a success. For all positions, experience of working and living in Papua is essential.
Programme Manager
Working with the team, you¢ll work with women¢s groups to empower them and help them influence policy that affects them and get experience to participate fully in development. Managing budgets and reporting on project progress you¢ll have plenty of local knowledge and experience of women¢s needs in development. You should be ready to support women in everything they wish to do and able to communicate well with wide range of people in Indonesian and in English.
Programme Assistant
You¢ll be working to support the whole team in a wide range of administrative and programme activity.
Finance Officer
You¢ll be keeping a careful eye on all the programme finances and should have experience of planning, budgeting, accounting, and reporting on finances. You¢ll be sensitive to the needs of women in Papua.
Training Coordinator
You¢ll have experience of assessing needs, planning and implementing grassroots community training programmes to build up the knowledge and confidence of Papua women in a range of issues which affect them.
Grants Coordinator
You¢ll be planning and managing a grants programme for individual women and for women¢s groups aiming to develop the skills and a confidence of Papuan women in a range of issues which affect them.
