Program Assistant, Law Program
The Asia Foundation seeks experienced candidates for the vacant
Program Assistant position for the Law Program:
PROGRAM ASSISTANT (PA) is responsible for logistical, administrative
and financial aspects of program activities and grants management. PA
assist Directors/Team Leader and Program Officers to review proposals
and budgets, managing program files, drafting letters, and handling
contacts with local, national, international institutions, agencies
and personalities. Program Assistant is also responsible for
organizing meetings, workshops, trainings, and other program related
events. Additionally, the Program Assistant will be required to
provide accurate and timely translation to various Indonesian and
English documents, as well as assist Director/Team Leader, and
Program Officers in ensuring that program funds are appropriately
disbursed in a timely manner.
Candidates should ideally possess:
• A minimum of 2 years work experience in grants or program
administration position with an internationally focused organization
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both
English and Indonesian
• Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets and database
management
• Knowledge of Indonesian NGOs and government agencies
• An understanding of how donor agencies operate
• Minimum bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably
bachelor's degree in Law.
• Good analytical skills, with basic knowledge of the
Indonesian legal system.
