Requirements:
- Provide Technical and system Support to safety management team
- Implement Safety Management systems, processes and programs to ensure the conservation of people, property, environment and profits.
- Actively contribute to a positive teamwork environment and communicate openly and honestly at all times.
- Willing to work extended hours to meet deadlines.
- Having comprehensive knowledge of mining management principles and practices.
- Good communication and presentation skills including report writing
- Good English is essential.
- Strong leadership and team building skills.
- Familiar to conduct Internal Audit and Auditor Certificated is preferred.
- Familiar to prepare safety training material to conduct training for employees
- Able to deliver/develop Safety Training Package on site
- Computer literate (MS Word, Excel and Power Point)
Qualification:
• Minimum D3 in Occupation Health, Safety and Environmental qualification.
• Minimum 3 years experience in similar safety, Health and environmental project role.

Key purpose:
PT BRITMINDO are providing Mine Management and Consultancy Services for a new mine development in Sumatera. Our client, a publicly listed company requires a Kepala Tekhnik Tambang. For this operation which has potential to expand to produce over 5 Mtpa.
Working on behalf of the Mine Owner as the Site Representative will be required to oversee the Mine Management consultant and ensure that the mine is developed in accordance with the owners requirements and to the highest standards of safety and environmental control and establish KPI’S for performance.
Requirements:
- Having a proven track record of managing multi-discipline Projects in the Mineral Sector that also encompasses a multi-cultural workforce.
- Willing to work extended hours to meet deadlines.
- Having comprehensive knowledge of mining management principles and practices.
- Must possess an in depth knowledge of Mining Processes as well extensive as experience in project management and development.
- Capable of supervising and evaluating the work of subordinates.
- Good communication and presentation skills including report writing
- Good English is essential.
- Able to develop and maintain effective monitoring and control systems and carry them to the intended conclusions to meet the agreed Project goals.
- Site based in Sumatera.
- Act as a Government Liaison and understand Mining Regulations.
- Prepare and submit Statutory reports.
- Strong leadership and team building skills.
- Computer literate.
Qualification:
- Minimum 10 (ten) years previous experiences in mining with at least 5 years in coal.
