KTT Mine Manager - Early Works
Site Based

Reporting to Construction Manager, this position will be responsible for providing engineering / technical support for the Construction Manager, liaison with EPCM and construction contractors to ensure technical compliancy of contracts. Control construction scheduling to achieve target in accordance with the capital & operating budgets. To ensure compliance of “Zero Harm”, HSE&C goals. Ensure all HSEC policies and procedures are followed and a proactive approach to HSEC maintained. Instil a level of awareness to all contractors that ensures they meet BHP Billiton s expectations. Prepare weekly and monthly reports for Construction Managers review. Review and report on knowledge and performance of the contractors. Involved in community meetings as required and involve in regular site meetings with EPCM contractor and major suppliers.

To be considered for this position, you must have at least 10 years post-graduate experience in varied positions within construction / mining industries and hold KTT certification. Good personal skills and ability to interact with all levels of the organization. Fluent communication and writing skills in Bahasa and English (oral and written) are desirable.

Civil Engineer

Currently our client in Australia (a major EPC company) is looking for: Civil Engineers and Civil Designers to join a number capital projects.
Projects include the development of a Greenfield coal mine in central QLD; Mining & Metals; Copper - all QLD based; and a major port expansion in Newcastle NSW.

Civil Engineers and Civil Designers roles are within the Engineering Group, and are mostly office based located either in Fortitude Valley or Brisbane CBD; except that of the Newcastle project.

These opportunities are long term contract or staff roles.

Ideally you will have:

• Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline with min 7 years of experience in Mining & Metals or heavy industrial project.
• Experience as a Civil Designer on large EPC projects.
• Knowledge of engineering and design computer applications.
• Experience in bulk earthworks, haul roads, drainage, hydrology, hydraulics and geotechnical.
• Experience with Microstation and InRoads is preferred; however with appropriate industry experience for staff roles this company is willing to train in InRoads.
• Experience in design engineering; design engineering systems; discipline engineering techniques and engineering and design calculations.
• Critical to your application is your experience in Mining & Metals or heavy industrial project.
• Your background in the design of major civil infrastructure will be highly considered.
• Available to relocate to Australia.

b. Pendidikan Min. SMA/Diploma Geodesi/Teknik Tambang;

c. Pengalaman min. 2 Th pada posisi dan bidang yang sama;

d. Keterampilan menguasai peralatan dalam survey, serta computer terutama software/program survey, mis: Mapinfo, GIS, Minescape/Sucpac & Autocad;

e. Mampu melaksanakan aktivitas survey, pengukuran survey, pembuatan data progress secara periodik, terhadap semua kegiatan tambang di Site, sehingga diperoleh hasil yang maksimum, efisien, tepat waktu, dan akurat;

6. SAFETY OFFICER (Kode: SO)

Persyaratan khusus:

a. Pria, Usia Max 38 Th;

b. Pendidikan Min SMA/Diploma semua jurusan;

c. Memiliki sertifikat Safety Officer (wajib) serta sertifikat Ahli K3 dan “Pengawasan Operasional Pratama (POP)” (diutamakan);

d. Memiliki keterampilan komputer (Min. MS. Office);

e. Mampu menyusun Anomali and Corection Action secara berkala dan membuat laporan Statistical Injury, Illness Data mingguan dan bulanan (HSE Performance);

f. Mampu melaksanakan dan memastikan pelaksanaan Induksi, prosedur kerja berjalan secara benar (sesuai JSEA, SOP dan P5M), Inspection Program dan Daily Patrol serta Investigasi setiap accident yang terjadi di lingkungan perusahaan;

d. mengetahui system mechatronic, system electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic dan engine;

e. Memiliki kemampuan dalam membaca part book dan shop manual unit alat-alat berat;

f. Memiliki Sertifikat G1/G2 Fabrikasi (untuk posisi Welder);

1.HSEQ Training Superintendent.

Responsibility :
To develop, coordinate and evaluate HSE training programs.
Requirement :
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety) or equivalent and registered as a Safety & Health Officer with Governmental Bodies.
- Well versed with HSE legislation as well as OHSAS 18001 & ISO 14001 requirements.
- At least 5 year(s) of working experience in a HSE related role in mining industry ; in coordinating HSE related training programs ; in performing HSE audits & inspections ; in Incident investigation, analysis & reporting processes ; providing management with regular feedback on HSE matters (meeting, presentation, report writing) ; and familiar with HSE Management Systems & their implementation at an operational level.

2.Quality Superintendent.

Responsibility :
To assist QHSE Manager in assuring the effective implementation of LIL’s quality management systems, policies & procedures with the objective of ensuring high-quality project management, productive work planning, quality products & the overall satisfaction of the client.

Requirements :
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering or Quality Assurance discipline.
- Trained/ registered as an internal or external QA Auditor (ISO 9001 standard).
- Well versed with legislative as well as ISO 9001 requirements.
- Having min 5 years working experience in experience in a Quality related role in mining industry at a Senior level ; familiar with ISO 9001 & Quality Management Systems & their implementation at an operational level ; experience in performing quality related inspections, testing programs & audits ; experience in non-conformance reporting, analysis & corrective action management. ; experience in providing management with regular feedback on Quality matters (meeting, presentation, report skills).

3.Environmental Superintendent.

Requirements :
- Degree in Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety) or equivalent.
- At least 5 years working in the same role, preferably in coal mining industry.
- Having good understanding of AMDAL (Environmental Impact Assessment), AMD (Acid Mine Drainage), Mine Reclamation, ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System)
- Should have good interpersonal, analytical and problem solving skills.

4.Drill and Blast Engineer.

Requirements :
Degree from Engineering (Mining) or equivalent.
Must possess Certificate in Shot Fires
Familiar with Blast design software
At least 3 years working experience in the same filed in coal mining industry

Key purpose:

PT BRITMINDO are providing Mine Management and Consultancy Services for a new mine development in Sumatera. Our client, a publicly listed company requires a Kepala Tekhnik Tambang. For this operation which has potential to expand to produce over 5 Mtpa.
Working on behalf of the Mine Owner as the Site Representative will be required to oversee the Mine Management consultant and ensure that the mine is developed in accordance with the owners requirements and to the highest standards of safety and environmental control and establish KPI’S for performance.

Requirements:
- Having a proven track record of managing multi-discipline Projects in the Mineral Sector that also encompasses a multi-cultural workforce.
- Willing to work extended hours to meet deadlines.
- Having comprehensive knowledge of mining management principles and practices.
- Must possess an in depth knowledge of Mining Processes as well extensive as experience in project management and development.
